The grapes for this wine came from McGuigan’s cool climate vineyards. As with all their harvesting, they were picked in the cool of the evening to eliminate oxidisation. Cool fermentation was used along with specific yeast strains to enhance the fruit. The nose is grassy with gooseberry overtones leading to a palate that displays passion fruit aromas. The palate is full and generously flavoured with a clean, crisp aftertaste with a very long finish.
