Founded in 1851 by Pierre Etienne Janneau, Janneau is the oldest of the great Houses of Armagnac and the most awarded armagnac in the world. Janneau’s vast stocks and unparalleled collection of old Armagnacs enables the skilful blending of several different Armagnacs to create consistent, award-winning styles. An elegant, golden, warm spirit, which has a sweet and welcoming nose followed by notes of prunes and vanilla. This Armagnac is produced entirely from double pot still distillation at Janneau' unique distillery in Condom, Gers. The subtle hint of liquorice in the long finish is characteristic of the originality of the Janneau style.
