Bruichladdich 1st Growth Cuvee 16yo Bourbon / Sauternes
A quite extraordinary experiment in maturation. 16 Year Old classic Bourbon-aged Bruichalddich, taken and further matured in casks from the greatest Bordeaux chateaux. Each "cuvée" now sharing the same heritage, but expressing the subtle nuances of the impeccable provenance of this additional maturation.
A limited-edition of 12,000 numbered bottles.
Cuvée "E": Sauternes. Of course maturation in Sauternes casks is nothing new, but this 16 is a fascinating feature in this august series. These casks were from the ultimate Sauternes chateau itself
